Purpose: This guide will explain the recommended method to sign in on the Zoom app using the SSO (Single Sign On) option. Because SSO unifies all of TIU's systems and portals into a single set of credentials, the SSO option simplifies and reduces how often you need to sign in. No need to remember a separate set of username and password just for Zoom.
Summary: Using the SSO (Single Sign On) option within the Zoom Sign In page, use "tiu-edu.zoom.us" when prompted for 'company domain'. Your browser will prompt you to Sign In using your TIU credentials.
Prerequisite:
- Activated TIU Zoom account - First time (or if you are unsure) users can activate their account by going to zoom.tiu.edu and Sign In using their TIU Sign In credentials.
- Zoom App installed on your device (Win/Mac/Mobile) - Users can download the latest version at zoom.tiu.edu (Download link can be found at the bottom of the page) or click here.
How to Sign In using SSO (Single Sign On):
- Open your Zoom app and select Sign In.
- Select SSO (Single Sign On) under the 'or sign in with' section.
- Note: Remember to check 'Keep me signed in'
- When prompted for Company Domain, enter tiu-edu.zoom.us
- Your browser will prompt you to Sign In with your TIU credentials
-
- Once your credentials are entered, your browser will prompt you and select "Open Zoom Meetings
- You should now be signed into your Zoom app.
Troubleshooting
- If you get any errors that an account can't be found, please check by signing in at zoom.tiu.edu. This will either activate your account, if you didn't previously have one, or you will be able to view your Zoom account profile and verify that your Sign In Email matches your TIU email.
- If the Sign In prompt isn't a TIU branded login prompt, in the above step 4, please try clearing your browser cache.
