For Windows users

- In the search box on the taskbar, type Command prompt, press and hold (or right-click) Command prompt, and then select Run as administrator > Yes.
- At the command prompt, type netsh wlan show wlanreport
- NOTE: default report location is C:/ProgramData/Microsoft/Windows/WlanReport/..
- This will generate a wireless network report that’s saved as an HTML file, which you can open in your favorite web browser. The report shows all the Wi-Fi events from the last three days and groups them by Wi-Fi connection sessions. It also shows the results of several network-related command line scripts and a list of all the network adapters on your PC.
- To share the report
- In File Explorer, go to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows
- Right click the WlanReport folder and select Compress to Zip file (When prompted, save file to Desktop)
- Share the WlanReport.zip file by emailing it to the TIU support team at ithelpdesk@tiu.edu.

On your Mac, quit all open apps.

Try to join the Wi-Fi network you’re having problems with (if you’re not already connected).

Press and hold the Option key, click the Wi-Fi status icon
in the menu bar, then choose Open Wireless Diagnostics.

Follow the onscreen instructions to analyze your network connection.

After the analysis is complete, click the Info buttons
in the Summary pane to learn more about each item in the list.
