TIU's websites are moving to the new Microsoft Sign In page.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we transition from the older Google Sign In page to our new Microsoft Sign In.
Google (Old Login)
Microsoft (New Login)
All TIU portals (including My.TIU.edu, TLSportal.tiu.edu, mail.tiu.edu, Canvas.tiu.edu , and Office.com) now use the Microsoft Sign In page and requires a MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) to be setup. If you do not see this sign in page, look for an SSO (Single Sign On) option or check the URL.
What you will need to do is to setup your MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) methods. We recommend you setup both the Microsoft Authenticator app and an additional backup method, like SMS phone or another Authenticator app.
Login at mysignins.tiu.edu and use the 
link and follow the prompts to add your MFA options.
What MFA options are available?
Authenticator Apps
Phone
Setup a SMS or Call option for authentication. A code will be sent by SMS or you'll recieve a call and instructions to authenticate.
Alternate Phone
Similar to the Phone option but limited to only calling your phone.
Security Key
A physical USB key can be set as your MFA, like the yubico USB key. More details can be found on this Microsoft support page
Why are these changes necessary? In an ever changing digital world, our mission is to always seek to improve our security and privacy infrastructure here at TIU.
These Multi-Factor Authentications (MFA) are more secure, especially when used with an authenticator app, but you can also use your SMS phone number as an alternate or backup method.
In addition, this will also open up future services or features for our TIU community.

**How to Change My Password**
TIU password managment: password.tiu.edu
If you get a wrong password error message, this might mean your current password does not meet the password standard or has expired and needs to be renewed. Your password can be changed at password.tiu.edu (Forgot password tool can be found there as well)
